Community Corner
Do you need to do your first aid training or refresher ... but just can't find the time? Our friends at Coast Guard are once again offering night time first aid & CPR training.
The course is held over 2 nights from 6pm - 9.30pm for the cost of $135 or CPR only refresher for 1 night at $60.

New Keno Promotion
Can your unlucky Keno tickets turn into a Lucky 99 ticket? Write your name & Membership number on the back of your losing Keno ticket and place it into the specially marked box. On the first Tuesday of each month we will draw a lucky ticket from the box and replay it for 99 x $1 keno games! You get all the winnings!

Fishing Division News

With the weather playing its usual games, you have to take the opportunity when you can. 

We now look forward to the Bottom Bash being held 30th Oct – Nov 1st.

With over $12,500 worth of prizes on offer, this is sure to be another great opportunity to go fishing, meet some great people, and have a chance of winning some great prizes.

Registration for this event closes at 4pm on the 30th October. Online bookings and are open now and will close at 4pm on the day of the event.

All registrations after 4pm on the 30th October will be subject to a late fee per entry.

The Club was represented at the QGFA AGM, held online for the 1st time in history, on Saturday 26th September. All YKSFC (fishing club) memberships include QGFA affiliation.

The club is pleased to announce that Nev Duncan has joined the management committee. Nev has been a longtime member of the Club, a previous committee member and most recently awarded life membership of YKBC. Nev has decades of involvement with the Club and we know he will bring fair and valued direction to the Club, we look forward to working with him further.
